Please support our events
The Corstorphine Public Hall Rebuild Group are busy preparing the next programme of Fundraising Events for the Rebuilding of the Corstorphine Public Hall.
We are interested in hearing from anyone who is interested in running a fundraising event in aid of the Hall Rebuild.
Hopefully the broad range of events included in the programme will be well supported. The events are an important aspect of the fundraising for the Hall and by supporting and attending these events you are contributing to the fundraising effort for the New Build.
If you have any ideas please get in touch. Please use our events email form to contact us or use the calendar below to find out how to support our upcoming rebuild fundraising events…..

Donation from Corstorphine Fair
The Corstorphine Public Hall Rebuild Group (CPHR) has just received confirmation from the Corstorphine Fair Committee that they are making a £4,000 donation to the Rebuild fund. This is very welcome news and it is heartening to receive such a strong endorsement from another important Corstorphine organisation.
The Corstorphine Fair has become an integral part of the Community life of Corstorphine over the past 35 years and the Corstorphine Public Hall has been the venue for many Corstorphine Fair events over that time.
The cheque presentation will be made on the 1st December at the Christmas Tree Lights Switch On at Corstorphine Old Parish Church and it would great to see a good crowd at this event to support the Corstorphine Fair Committee and all their efforts to support the community spirit of Corstorphine.
The Fair Committee have also agreed that CPHR can take a fundraising collection at the event.

Statement from Forbes Howie Chairperson Corstorphine Fair
The Corstorphine Fair Committee are delighted to be in a position to donate £4000 towards
Corstorphine Public Hall Rebuild. Since the fire, the local community have sorely missed the Corstorphine Public Hall, a fantastic resource used by numerous community groups and individuals over the years, including the Fair Committee. Therefore this community group fully supports the efforts of a fellow community group and wishes them all the best in their mission to get the Corstorphine Public Hall up and running once more.
2nd Corstorphine Festival Week
28th May to 3rd June 2017
Corstorphine Public Hall and Corstorphine Youth and Community Centre are combining forces to arrange the 2nd Annual Corstorphine Festival Week.
This week of activities will happen from Sunday May 28th until Saturday 3rd June at several locations throughout Corstorphine.
It is hoped that individuals and organisations within Corstorphine will support this event by organising events or attending activities and performances. A number of events have already been agreed with many more in the pipeline.
Further information will be posted on both the CPHR and CYCC websites as it becomes available.
One of the activities which will be displayed throughout the week is a display of Yarn Bombing
Several individuals and groups of people are already beavering away to produce a pile of items for this event.
The more people who participate the wider the area we will be able to decorate.
We are appealing for any knitters, crochet or needleworkers who would be interested in participating in this fun event to contact Caroline at the phone number on the poster or pop into Corstorphine Hub, 191 St Johns Road and have a chat.
Please Contact Us if you require any further information.
